Looking for ways to get involved? Here are four great resources for finding volunteer opportunities in Burlington.

  • City Market/Onion River Coop provides up to a 12% discount to Co-op member workers who volunteer their time with participating food access and education non profits. All Co-op members must attend a member worker orientation in order to be eligible. For more information, look for the binder at the Customer Service desk, give them a call at 802-861-9700 or check out the coop’s website at http://www.citymarket.coop.
  • The United Way of Chittenden County has a great volunteer database with over 400 listings in Chittenden, Franklin and Grand Isle Counties which you can access here.
  • Idealist.org, a project of Action without Borders, is a great interactive website that lists job and volunteer opportunities and helps people share resources and ideas. You can search their online database or sign up to receive email alerts when opportunities to volunteer become available.
