Abanaki Heritage Garden Open House Sept. 23
Celebrate the harvest season and the agricultural heritage of Burlington’s Intervale on Thursday, Sept. 23. The free, family-friendly Heritage Harvest Celebration features an open house at the Abenaki Heritage Garden from 3-5:30 p.m. with clay pot cooking demonstrations and tastings with Charlie Paquin, corn grinding with City Market, and garden tours. The day continues with a 6 p.m. Slow Food Vermont potluck and the Heritage Harvest Hoedown barn dance at 7 p.m.($5). For more information, visit www.intervale.org.
