Urban Agriculture Task Force

Policy Barn Raising Workshop for Backyard Livestock

The Urban Agriculture Task Force invites Burlington residents to participate in a workshop on raising livestock in urban settings. The workshop objective is to gain input from the community on how the city might develop policies on backyard livestock.

Participants will examine issues common to urban livestock and discuss potential governance approaches using examples from other cities and building on Task Force research.

Results from this workshop will be used to inform recommendations to City Council.
